I was totally surprised to find that IBIS was nice. We had a clean, comfortable room and it was in a good location just off the road from where we were heading. Would stay again and that’s saying something from me who is super fussy.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had our dog with us with no issues or questions asked. In particular, a member of the staff, a young man opened an extra area of the breakfast so our dog could be with us while we were having our breakfast.

Basic and functional facilities that you would expect from a budget Ibis - perfect for an overnight stay to break up journey. Restaurant next door so very handy for dinner especially as it was pouring with rain when we arrived. A previous review mentioned the bakery opposite which was great for buying a sandwich the next day.

Very dog friendly we have 3 dogs and a lot of hotels will only allow 2 . One is particularly old so we asked for a ground floor room , they honestly cant do enough for you. Will definitely stay again.
